myofascial

Myofascial decompression targets the fascial layer of soft tissue and works to decompress these fascial layers by strategically placing cups on an area of restriction, then using negative pressure to decompress a specified soft tissue structure. It is very common to develop areas of tissue tightness and when chronically tight, movement absolutely becomes hindered.

There is research that shows fascial restrictions can lead to decreased blood flow, reduced nutrient exchange and metabolic processes within these layers. Myofascial decompression is a novel approach to increasing flexibility, minimizing adhesions, and facilitating movement even at the cellular level.
